Domain normalizer

Turn a messy list of URLs into clean, uniform lines. Choose the output — hostname, registered domain, origin or clean URL — then strip www, lowercase, deduplicate, sort and drop invalid lines.

How to use

  1. 1Paste a list of URLs or domains, one per line, or load a file.
  2. 2Pick the output: hostname, registered domain, origin (scheme, host and port) or clean URL.
  3. 3Tick the rules you need and press Normalize.
  4. 4Copy the result or export it as TXT, CSV or JSON.

The path, query string and fragment stay. The host is lowercased (unless you untick it), www. can be removed, a trailing slash is dropped and the scheme is kept only if the line had one.

With the Public Suffix List: shop.example.co.uk becomes example.co.uk, not co.uk. IP addresses are kept as they are.

A line without a usable hostname: plain words, broken URLs or a name without a dot. Untick “Drop invalid lines” to keep such lines unchanged.

No. All processing happens locally in your browser.
